"I have been married to the love of my life and my best friend, Jon, for seven years. We love the Lord Jesus and are very active in our church. I am also an aspiring photographer and would love to have my own studio someday, but for now I practice on my three girlies and other friends and family!
"I love birth and have had three natural, non-medicated childbirths, all with different attendants. Since we have moved around a lot (this is our sixth home in our seven years, and we'll hopefully be here awhile!), it is always a challenge for me to find and trust a healthcare provider.
"I enjoyed answering the Birth Survey because it will help other mothers in their quest to find someone who is a match for them and their families. I also think it is beneficial for providers to have a 'report card' where they are responsible for their actions. I have had the experience of a provider telling me what I wanted to hear and doing the exact opposite. We need to know!

"Being a mother is the most rewarding thing in my life. My daughter has made me the person I have always wanted to be.
"I really enjoyed entering this contest. Since I really never win anything I was not worried about the prizes involved, I was really just excited to be able to tell my birthing experience. It is a story that I could tell over and over. Just ask my family, friends, co-workers--I have bored them all to tears with my stories time and time again. I just can't help myself. Having my daughter is the single most amazing, most moving thing that has ever happened to me, and I cherish those memories. I think your organization is a wonderful thing, and I am so excited to be a pampered mama! I will be turning 29 at the end of this month and could not dream of a better birthday present than being a pampered mama!

What is this all about?
The Birth Survey was created to help women share their maternity care experiences and learn from other women's experiences. As advocates for mother-friendly maternity care, we at BirthNetwork NWA believe that the quality of your care matters to your health and that of your baby.
When you take the Birth Survey, you can let other women in NW Arkansas know about the great (or not so great) care you received with the doctor or midwife you chose. Feedback like this will help other women find the best maternity care available, and it also helps hospitals and doctors improve. We’re all about healthier, safer, better births for mom and baby.
