Birth Story Recordings – A red tent…mothers voices…intimacy…truth. BOLD's Red Tent event concept is simple: gather women under a "red tent" to listen to mothers' birth stories and then record their stories (in film, written word or visual expression) as part of our BOLD Library of Birth Truths. A BOLD Red Tent event is an excellent opportunity for communities throughout the world to be BOLD and showcase your community's local birth stories.
Arkansas launch of www.TheBirthSurvey.com. Mothers are invited to complete an internet survey on their experiences with local maternity care providers. Information from the surveys will be made available to other women seeking information to help them choose maternity care providers.

BOLD, Birth on Labor Day, is a movement to make maternity care more mother-friendly through education, truth and action. Performances of Karen Brody’s play Birth take place during the month of September in cities around the world every year.
